Salvation Army - Bad Luck Stunt
Poverty is a growing problem also in Finland. Without a media budget, The Salvation Army Finland launched the new “Help People” fundraising campaign in the summer of 2017. The campaign featured photographs of former President of Finland Tarja Halonen and former CMO of Rovio Entertainment (creator of Angry Birds) Peter Vesterbacka as homeless persons on the street. The stunt was a success and the images had an incredible impact through Instagram and Facebook posts. Media had a huge interest for the campaign and it was headline news in all the key Finnish media outlets. It also made the news all over the world.
